Online Chinese Language Proficiency Certificate
Overview:
This is an online introductory course in Mandarin Chinese (Putonghua), designed for students who have had no prior exposure to Chinese language. The purpose of this course is to lay foundation for further study of Chinese and equip them with some basic skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing for those language learners who can not attend on-campus classes due to multiple reasons and other purpose is to broaden the language scope globally. This course comprises on two parts 8/16 weeks. And, will start from the most basic elements of Chinese pronunciation system called pinyin, the four tones, initials and finals which constitute its phonetics system. Upon finishing this level students will be able to grasp some basic vocabulary to participate in daily conversation like introducing themselves, talking about their family, and gaining and providing important information regarding nationality, time, weather, job etc.
